Pop-Ups For:
|
Creating Your Pop-Up CardWhat is involved in creating a custom designed pop-up card and how does the process work? We have been specializing in custom pop-ups for years, and we think we have the pop-up process streamlined... and painless! Here are the steps... Step 1: The ConsultationFirst, let’s have a conversation over the telephone, or if you are not in North America, via Email. You can tell us what kind of pop-up you are thinking of. What items do you want to feature? What feeling do you want to create? What kind of colors and artwork style do you think would work best? Which card in our Gallery is most like what you want your finished card to look like? We will listen carefully, and make recommendations, and mostly synchronize our visions for your custom cards. You can decide whether you want an illustrated card (like 20th Century Fox), or a card made up of a montage of your photos (like Paradise Cruise). Together, we’ll decide what reference materials we will need in order to build your cards. Step 2: You Send Your Materials
Next step—you send us a FedEx Letter Pak (on our account) with your deposit cheque (we require a 50% deposit for all custom projects) and reference materials. These may include photos on CD, your logo, brochures, postcards, snapshots, etc. You can also include the text you want on the front and back cover of your cards. The more information we have on your company, the better. Step 3: Confirm Design Details and Create Mock-UpWhen we receive your package, we’ll call you again to let you know we received it, and review the layout and composition for your cards. Next, we assign an artist to your project and a few weeks after we receive your materials, we will FedEx you the artists Mock-Up design. Step 4: You Critique Mock-UpHere is your chance to critique! Pass it around, get feedback, and let us know what you like, what you love, what you don’t like, and if you want it changed. Step 5: Final ProofOur artists will incorporate your feedback into their final design or painting, and then we’ll supply you with a final proof. Step 6: ProductionOnce you are happy (or thrilled!) with the design for your pop-up card, we will handle all the production issues. We print (in gang runs on small orders to keep our product affordable), create the die, die cut, assemble, and ship your cards anywhere you specify. Don’t we make it easy? Bet you can’t wait to get started. Tell us about your project so that we can give you a quote on it! |
